Happy New Year!

The last two years we have not held our annual New Years Eve party. Our home got too small as the kids and their friends got bigger. The boys each went with a friend last night and the girls, Mr. Monkey and I had our own itty bitty New Year's Eve Partay.

We had the chili cheese dip, little smokies, chocolate, and non-carbonated drinks. We watched Shr3k 3, played Scen3 it- music edition, and laughed till our bellies hurt.

When we went to bed around 12:15 AM Tree Monkey came in and announced, "This was the best day ever! I stayed up til midnight and nobody yelled at me!" And when she's says yelled at me she means "nobody told me to get to bed a gazillion times." Funny girl.

That's her new phrase. She told us that it was the "best day ever" on Christmas.


I am pleased to report that the boys arrived home safely from their festivities and are still soundly sleeping in bed.

Alas, the little party princesses are also still slumbering.



Tomorrow begins the back to the old schedule routine. It sure has been nice to have a break.
