13 Is a Lucky Number

Whilst I was off playing, Mini-Me had a birthday, turned 13, read Breaking Dawn, stayed over night at grandma's and had cake and ice cream with daddy and the other kids.



Dear Mini-Me,

I cannot believe my "little bit" is a teenager. You still love to snuggle. You are observant and smart. You are a great example to us and your testimony is strong. You don't bear it often verbally. You bear it daily in your actions and reminders of what we need to be doing.

You just got your braces and you look so different and so grown up. You are wearing contacts now more than glasses, helping our proctor children dress modestly, and learning so much each day. As you enter Jr High I am excited to see what you will choose to do. Guitar, drama, dance, and more. I love to watch you grow and to live the world through your eyes.

Daddy and I are so please with the young lady you have become. I sure hope that we can be the parents you need us to be to continue this path of growth and development that you are on. You make us look like really great parents. We think you are a really great daughter and we are lucky to be your parents.
