HAPPY
HALLOWEEN!!
My husband is the greatest. He takes good care of me and has fun with the kids.
Last night was the annual pumpkin carving activity at our home. He and Tree Monkey worked hard to carve out the cutest pumpkins. I will post pics later. No time as of yet.
Tree Monkey has been saying the funniest things to me. I know she is 11, but her innocence warms my heart.
This morning I dropped Mini-Me off to school. She is dressed up as a baby- blanket, blanket sleeper, binky, sippy cup, and all. As she is walking across the street Tree Monkey says, "Mom we have a new baby in the house. Do you know what the baby's name is?"
Me: "Yep. Mini-Me."
TM: "That's absolutely right. Isn't she cute?"
Yesterday I had court in Farmington so I was driving up North in the morning rush hour traffic.
My phone rings and Tree Monkey says, "Mom? Oldest doesn't believe me that there are 41 days in October."
Me: *trying to not crack up out loud* "Sweetie Halloween is on the 31st and it's the last day."
TM: "I know, but there are 41 days in October."
Me: "Well actually there are no months with 41 days in them."
TM: "Oh. Okay. Why not? I want there to be 41 days in October."
I have no idea why she would want 10 more days in October, but she apparently does.
She is also the pet bouncer at our home.
She informed that she has to watch closely and separate the cats when Pouncy gets his "mean face."
Me: Pouncy has a mean face?"
TM: "Yes. Right be fore he attacks Raja."
This is mostly to start the play, but she sees it as mean. ;)
My funny girl. I love my kids. They bring me joy and God said, "[Wo]man is that [s]he might have joy." Joy, I do have.
Look for Halloween pics coming up. This afternoon is set aside for the fun. I'm even cooking a goulish dish.
