Jaguar (foster son) had been taking 3rd place in his heats at the track meets. This last two weeks he has been taking 2nd place. Sweet Speed Increase!!!! Keep up the good work!
Monkey Wrench has recovered from knee surgery and is getting ready for Prom. It's tonight. They are so excited and it looks to be an awesome time. They are going with 5 other couples to dinner and to the dance. I'll post pictures when they get them back. As I am posting he is polishing his shoes, again. They must shine to the tenth power. :)
Tree Monkey has a dance recital coming up on the 20th. Final one for the year. She loves dance. Her and Sassy spend hours down in the unfinished family room making up their own dances. She made her room sparkle today and couldn't wait to show me.
Koda Bear (foster son) is getting great grades in school and loves to help around the house. He loves learning to cook and is the first to volunteer to help me with taking out trash and cleaning stuff. He takes every opportunity to find community service work so that he can turn them into his judge. Way to take charge there, Buddy!!!!!
Sassy has wan
ted to get back in to dance. We took her out when the dance class changed and she didn't like being with all the team girls. She didn't feel her skills were good enough and didn't want to hold them back. Anyway----She wants to dance so bad that she has called the dance studio director and been recruiting her friends for a class. Way to go girl!!!!! You want something bad enough you can find a way to make it happen. And lest you think that my kids are perfect all the time I shall list a couple of ah oh's.
*I went with Monkey Wrench to pick up a make up vanity for my room and my girls ate the last bagel that I had put in the toaster for me :( They had eaten lunch just minutes before. Little stinkers
**Did a room search this past week and found food hoarding and contraband :( Part of the territory, but then I have to become the dispenser of consequences and that is not my favorite job. :(
***We had a foster son relapse over Easter weekend, but because the drug tests are sent to a lab and give us levels we didn't find out about it for 2 weeks on the same day he failed a drug test that is instant. :( He lost his home visits for awhile as that is where it happened. His family is beside themselves. He appeared to be doing well. We just know that he is not yet strong enough to face temptation.
More wedding updates and a date is set-- finally-- coming soon.
Please Stand By ....................................................

your blog is so darling! We live for dance at this house so I know how that is.
There is always good and not so good.
I dunno...I'm sometimes guilty of food hoarding! ;)
