Looky, Looky

I have been creative! Now in therapy or in a word processor this is pretty easy for me.

However, craft wise I struggle.

So here's what's up:

I went to a craft boutique and got an idea. Then while I was in Tai Pan Trading (which we now have in a mall near us. I love Tai Pan Trading) I saw these lovely dishes.

I went to WalMart and got some candle holders and Roberts Craft to find this amazing glue called Goop and I made these fancy cookie plates and candy dishes.

I'm still working on this lovely piece.

It will fit in my dining room area against the north wall, but I am going to put it in the living room and use the space to store blankets, videos, and probably lots of other stuff that my children will stuff in it -all in the name of cleaning, of course.

So now I just need to remember to actually GO to the post office when it is OPEN. Gah!! And then I can get my Christmas cards out. That''s my plan and I'm gonna try to stick to it.

How did Christmas get here so quick? I need more time to get my cards out. I only have a couple of gifts to buy other than that so that part will all be good.

It's gonna be a fun week for us. Our two older foster sons are going to stay with family on Christmas and will open their gifts when they come back. I can't wait to see them open their gifts. I love to watch all the kids open their gifts.

Are you ready for Christmas yet?
