Slacker

That'd be me. I've been so busy.
I bought a carpet cleaner.
I spent the entire weekend cleaning carpets.
I love clean carpets.

I got my dining room more conducive to hosting Thanksgiving dinner.
I got my living room cleared out with space for my Christmas tree.

I moved on of my foster sons to his new home. Of course they place the easy child first. The two really hard ones are still here and making my life difficult with their behaviors. Isn't that just crazy? We watched the Blind Side at his going away party and I bawled, because I knew I was going to miss him. It's kids with his story that are the reason why I started doing foster care in the first place. So they find him a home first. Grrr.

I am working more and more hours and then coming home to run girls to dance, cleaning, cooking more, and getting sick. Yep. Getting sick. Darn sore throat, stuffy nose, fuzzy head (and I don't mean to the touch), coughing, extreme fatigue, well...you get the picture. So went and got a new phone, cause mine broke :(. I got the Samsung Epic.  Part of me likes it and part of me misses the simplicity of the flip phone I had. I do like being able to check certain web sites, like the bank, but dang it has a lot of toys on it and that is distracting.

I have started on Christmas shopping via the internet. I have some fun and really cool personalized gifts for the peeps at work and for my family.

Well, I am going to practice doing the girls hair for their dance recital coming up on the 20th. I need to practice it so I can get it just right in a short amount of time. If you know where I live and want to come to the recital or your child needs to watch a performance for a class email me or leave me a comment with how to contact you and I will send you an invite.

So sorry about the sickies! Lauren and Ted have colds...I sure hope they don't share them with us! ;)

I have qualified for a new phone on our plan for the longest time, but I refuse to get one because I don't want to have to learn how to use a new device when the one I own is still working perfectly!

We could have clean carpets if I'd just hire my cute son-in-law...but I'm too big of a cheapskate for that! :D
