Laughing all the way. . . .

I took the 4 monkeys we call children to get gifts for Mr. Monkey last night. We are driving home in what we hoped would be a wicked snow storm, Nope. Just rain. :(

Tree Monkey, our youngest, out of no where pipes up and says, "Mom, I can't believe you and daddy have been married for 40 years!!!!"



































Following that long gap of silence the rest of us burst out in laughter. We are 40 years old! Married for 18 years! For us to be married for 40 years would have been, illegal, to begin with, a might bit twisted on our parents part, and impossible since 1) our families lived in different states and 2) they would not have associated as mine had a different lifestyle.

It was however funny and quite an honor. I wonder what she will say when we do hit the 40th anniversary!!!
