Monkey Wrench: Mom, is there a canning jar that I can have?
Me: I'm sure there is. Why?
Monkey Wrench: I want to try an experiment. (Me looking at him puzzled) You know how people catch the wind in jars; well I want to catch a fart.
(Demonstrates handing jar and opening it, then reacting to a bad smell)
Boys. *shakes head in despair*

I think this kid has watched too much TV.
