Dear Tommy,

I love it when I hear the calming voice of Thomas S. Monson. My favorite is when he reads a letter that begins with "Dear Tommy." We grieve the end of the era of the Great Communicator. We welcome and move forward with the Great Storyteller.

I love the way the church functions. I have such comfort knowing that the Lord is in charge. President Ucktdorf shared that part of his testimony today. I am going to need to practice spelling his name. I may not be able to jump over to the church’s web site each time.

I am pleased to continue to learn from President Eyring. He is an amazing speaker and I enjoy hearing him speak.

I am quite excited about President Monson being called as our new Prophet, Seer, and Revelator.

We move forward. What a blessing it is to be a member of Christ's church.
