Passing on the facts

My Native American friends have schooled me well in what the difference is between a scone and fry bread. I thought about including it the previous post, but as you can see- I did not.

So here goes:

The main difference is *drum roll please*

Scones have yeast in them

AND

Fry Bread has baking power.

TAH DAH!


I don't know if there are others, but I once made the mistake of calling fry bread a scone. Hence the need to educate me in the fine art of frying dough :D

My real dilemma is that fried dough is sooooo yummy and soooooo very bad for you. Moderation. Moderation. I know. But yummy.
