Gotta Move Dance Competition and more

The girls competed in the Hip Hop category. As I watched this genre I had some thoughts about how we are substituting this sloppy and degrading dance style for the real art of dancing. I see the purpose in getting kids involved. I also see the way it degrades us as humans to act in such a manner. There were 3 groups that put on a good show, but I was disturbed by the message. One had small children.

I am grateful for my daughters dance company. Their owner and instructor had a fun hip hop dance that didn't portray a war or fighting. It was more just fun.

Saturday morning we had scones. I had taken roll dough out to thaw and the kids decided to cook the scones. They all had a fun time. Check out the pics. They were yummy in my tummy!
