Irrigation- I remember playing in irrigation water as it flooded our yard. It was fun and it went up to my knees.
Climbing trees- We had two large cheery trees in our back yard. One Bing. One Lambert. Bing are my favorite. I climbed trees, ate cherries, played on the swing set, and went with friends.
What are some of your favorite treats from your childhood?
Ice Cream, Fresh fruit off the trees and bushes, raspberries, strawberries, peaches. My mom would can peaches and cherries, too.
Where was your favorite place to be as a child?
At home with my mom or staying over night at grandma's and grandpa's with cousins.
If you could show your children a glimpse of your childhood what would it be?
I would want them to see how hard we worked and what little we had.
