Kareer Woman's blog. It looked fun so here it goes.Eight Things I Have a Passion for:
- Family- They are my most prized relationships and my favorite job is being wife and mom. I love to have my family around for food, fun, or just being together. It is the most satisfying feeling I ever felt.
- My work- The progression from pain to healing is a magnificent one to watch. I provide the environment and the education and my clients do the work. It is amazing to see how far some can come.
- Camping- Relaxing in the canyon is my favorite thing to do. It is peaceful and serene. Almost as if time is standing still.
- Music- I think it is genetic. My dad loved music. My kids love music. Music takes me to a time, place, feeling, etc that is associated with a memory. I also like some of the messages that are there. I use it a lot with my kids in teaching them and in my work.
- Playing- I love to take time to play. Even simple play is rejuvenating and can really help take the edge off of life.
- Reading- Getting wrapped up in a good book has been a favorite of mine since childhood. My mom taught me to read before I went to 1st grade (back then 1st grade is when we started learning to read). I remember coming home and telling all the new words I learned.
- Service- I am so blessed. I have my needs met and many wants fulfilled. There is so much pain and suffering in the world that I want to do my part to ease it. Martina McBride has a song where the chorus says, "Love's the Only House Big Enough for all the Pain in the World." I couldn't agree more.
- Education- I was fortunate enough to get my college and psst grad degrees. Before that I learned a lot through reading and keeping up on the topics that interest me; like parenting. There are so many ways to get educated. Some cost more than others.
- Travel obscure places in the USA with a truck and travel trailer. With my family. It wouldn't be as much fun without them. When I have gone on business trips alone/with colleagues, there is something missing. I need my family there to share it with. They are the ones I want to build memories with.
- Take my family on a cruise.
- Spoil my grandchildren.
- See my children marry.
- Move to a bigger home (trying to now)
- Adopt more children.
- Go to Girls camp with my daughters.
- Begin dancing again.
- Love you.
- Did you brush your teeth?
- How did your day go?
- You are not for hurting.
- Let's get this done so we can have some fun.
- Is your room picked up?
- I don't know how this will work out, but I know it will. The Lord always takes care of us.
- How are you doing? (And yes I REALLY want the truth. Not some cracker jack box answer of fine.)
