Don't worry Klin, you say. Many people spend years working on that.
Oh I know. But we noticed that we had residents in our garage that were uninvited. They are called mice. Eeewwww.
Everyone thinks mice are disgusting. Big deal. What's the point here?
Ok, ok. Be patient with me. Monkey Wrench and hubs have been building shelves for storage and working on organizing the garage for the last three days. Tonight we were out there taking care of some final organizing and going through stuff that mice had gotten into.
So we are down to the the part where we are capturing the mice and disposing of them. I will NOT go into to detail here. Trust me when I say you do not want to know.
We are all trying to trap the mouse, and when I say 'we' I do not include myself. Well I was helping, but I had no intention of doing anything more than blocking teh critters with the house broom. Yes. I am afraid of mice and they freak me out.
Hubs says it is coming toward my area, then it goes back to MW and then to me. I am telling them where it went as it ran from again and for a brief moment (cue the suspense music) I look at hubs briefly and when I look down the mouse. Is. Touching. My. Shoe!
I hysterically screamed, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! IT TOUCHED ME!! IT TOUCHED ME!!
Well the intense seriousness of the task was gone. Totally gone. Within a split second of my ending the hysterics Mini Me and I were laughing till our guts hurts at my sissiness and the boys/man just looked at me like I'd lost my mind.
Okay so momentarily I did. It's mostly back now. Except when I think about it I start laughing.
We find another one and I reminded them how good I was at scaring the mice. I thought my screaming was pretty useful. The mouse did wait for them to catch it. Well. . . I was wrong. MW's friend, Franco, told me that he was more afraid than the mouse at my screaming.
*Takes a bow*
Show over :P

Well at least he wasn't INSIDE the house! Yuck.
I had a mouse cornered once and was about to put a box over it to trap it when it ran straight at me.
Freaked. Me. Out.
I don't like mice.
We have tons of mice, and I scream when I see them, too! EWWW!!
I do not like mice AT ALL. I would have been screaming, too.
That is funny. We have a few critters as well. I completely freak.
I'm not afraid of mice, but a tarantula would do that to me FOR SURE!!! :D
Ooooh boy do I have some nasty mouse stories. Awhile ago my mom's friend became homeless so my mom let her live with us (for way too long) and she ended up being a major pig. Well, she always kept her room locked while she was gone, but one day we heard scratching coming from inside while she was at work. It turns out she had a whole family, no, several families of mice living in there. Feel free to throw up. It got so bad that at one point I had a little mouse staring at me from the top of my curtain rod in my bedroom. Ya. MY BEDROOM. Needless to say we kicked her out and have been mouse free since. I like to refer to that time in my life as the dark ages.
