Just some stuff that I want to remember when I lose my sanity and then get it back

* A good friend of oldest came by and I held her baby while she loaded pics on the computer of oldest. She is taking the engagement photos.

She said she was jealous cause I took the best name for a blog so she had to settle with something else. Muahahahahahahahaha!

*It really is a jungle or a zoo here this weekend. You see, I lost my mind and didn't find it until it was too late and I had committed to some pretty outrageous things.

1. Even though I never said yes, I didn't stop the planning of a party by Sassy. She is having 24 kids over tonight from 5- 10 PM for a movie, games, and food. She earned all the money for the food and bought it. She handmade ALL the invitations and delivered them. She cleaned and shoved all the junk in the corner of our unfinished family room then hung flannel sheets to hide the "stuff" while still having a section for the couches, chairs, tables, etc.

Oy!

2. I agreed to do respite care for 2 Korean boys who don't like their current placement. They need a break and so does their foster family. They are a bit entitled, but are generally very nice and polite. It is still 2 more kids.

3. We got our little 7 year old. We know the family that has him now, but he is a lot to handle and they need to get some other things taken care of. Long story. That I can't post. He actually came from another state with his two siblings. SERIOUS abuse and neglect case. Finally the family we know got him, but the three of them are a lot, so we are helping with him and when all is said and done he will go back to them and hopefully be adopted.

He is adorable, maddening, annoying, and absolutely precious all at the SAME time. One on one he is best. He is a busy body and is trying to do everything at once. I am trying to get him to do his job, be a little kid, and let me do my job, being the boss. I'll let you know if I am successful.

He really is a funny kid. He thinks that when the puppy and kitty are playing that they are fighting and hurting each other. He separates them and then tells them to be nice.

4. I have a wedding coming up and we have just about nailed down the details and are ready to start ordering and making things. Whew! I think Frog found her dress and I can't wait to post pics. I love watching her try on wedding dresses. She is beautiful and she makes each dress look good. Soooo exciting.

Random humor- Koda Bear was just sitting at the table as I was putting all the food on it. After scooping the rice from the cooker to a bowl I looked over at him and saw him raise his left arm, pull his sleeve out with his right hand, stick his nose inside of sleeve, sniff, then pull a face, wave his hand in front of his nose, and quietly proclaim that his arm pit was stinky.

He looked over saw me and I said thank you for the blog fodder, Koda Bear. He could not believe that I would put this action on the internet for all to see. I had to describe to him just how I would do this before he would believe that I could.

Frog reminded him that anything is good blog fodder and when you live here with all these people someone will see what you do!

Bahahahahahahahahaha

It's time to begin the afternoon driving marathon. That's where I get in my car and don't get out for hours, but I don't end up some place fun like a park or Disneyland. In fact, I rarely leave my town. Vroom, Vroom.

First,yay!

Way to go Sassy! That is awesome that she did all of that herself.

How can people abuse and neglect kids? It is beyond my comprehension. :(

Can't wait to see the pics of Frog!
I love to see people try on wedding dresses!

Well I guess I should say women, not people. Although George rocked the dress in "The Wedding Singer".

LOL about Koda Bear!

I'm starting to think you're too intimidating to be my friend. You're SuperMom. But I love hearing all of your stories and it's beyond awesome how you open your home (and heart) to so many, so I'm just going to have to learn to deal with it. ;) Thanks for being so awesome and inspiring. :)
