What a Week

The girls had dress rehearsal on Monday and the dance recital on Tuesday. I canceled my drug group cause I just can't be at two places at once and family comes first. They did great. I am so proud of my little dancers. They are challenging themselves and wanting to do more and be better.
The sound isn't as good as it was in the theater, but I love watching them.

Then we had Thanksgiving which you can read about here.

Yesterday I did some shopping. I got up at 9 AM and got all but one of my door buster deals. Sweet day. Sleep and good sales is my kind of Black Friday. I actually like going out early. I wasn't able to manage the pain this year to go out all night and day to shop. It kinda sucked, but I'll live and maybe next year.

Today I deep cleaned my room and bathroom. Gotta get ready for the holidays. I also ran out to Roberts for one of my girls to get a gift for the person/couple they drew a name for. On the way to I spotted this lovely piece that I bought on the way back.

Hubs was not super thrilled about having to come get it, but it only cost 10 bones!

Saaaa-Weeet!

I'm trying to decide whether to put it in the dining area as a buffet or in the living room under the TV to put all our videos in.

What do you think? Dining room or Living room.

Sassy told me it was ugly. for the first time I realized that I could see the beauty in something before it actually has been painted and made to look beautiful. That is what it is like for those who are decorators. It's a good feeling. I'm not sure I am ready for thrift stores just yet, but it's progress in my book.

What a deal! Wow! If it was me, I think I'd put it under the TV and use all that great storage space for the videos! It seems a bit large for a dining area, unless you have a nice BIG dining area! ;)

Thanks for the sweet comments! I love you too! :)

Love the dance

I like Nancy's idea. I wish I was better and seeing a finished product--I just can't do it.
