Dear Fridge Compressor Thingy,

Why did you have to go out? I can appreciate that you did so while still under warranty, however I really miss having ice water and I'm not too thrilled about all the food I had to throw out. Do you know how expensive it will be to replace it enough to feed three teenage boys? Yeah, not looking forward to that.

Anyway, for the future, please remember that you are a Jenn Air - top of the line- refrigerator. This means that you do not break down. Also please keep in mind that your timing is really bad. We have a wedding next week, for Pete's sake, and need the room of both fridges to keep the food in for the reception. Lucky for you the repair dudes can get here Monday and all will hopefully be resolved by that evening. If not . . . . . I may replace you with a cheaper model. Remember who you are and keep on working so that I can once again have ice and water at my disposal. (I live on ice and water year round!)
